Lukas Oscar – The Fun Never Ends

With “The Fun Never Ends”, Lukas Oscar presents a deeply personal work that addresses the inner struggles we all have to face; from self-criticism to obsession, irrational thought patterns to existential questions. And yet he doesn’t paint the devil on the wall with these difficult topics – instead he celebrates these challenges as an essential part of life.

True to the motto “Every thought is equal”, the album does not differentiate between “sensible” and “irrational” feelings. Instead, they are accepted and examined in great detail.
And the insights, or even more often questions, that are raised in the process, must then simply be expressed – unfiltered and brutally honest; quite literally without embellishment.

Musically, The Fun Never Ends is as diverse as its themes. The album moves between lofi bedroom pop, alternative rock and pop, and offers a colorful and dynamic listening experience.
Heavy drums characterize a large part of the album, contrasted by gentle ballads that offer moments of calm and reflection.
Despite the cross-genre diversity, Lukas manages to combine the different sound worlds into a coherent work through his writing style and his unmistakable voice.
