Kässy – T-Shirt
KÄSSY is whoever she wants to be: singer, instrumentalist, producer and performer. Her eclectic sound is driven by an unstoppable desire to explore new musical and sonic territories, constantly pushing beyond familiar boundaries.
While her debut EP I’m Going Somewhere Better Later embraced an electronic “everything all at once” chaos—a reflection of digital overload—KÄSSY’s new music allows space to breathe. She has not only further refined her signature sound, but also immersed herself more deeply in the art of songwriting itself. Obsessive attention to instrumentals, unforgettable hooks and the irresistible glossy allure of pop—the grand illusion—defines this new creative chapter. Meet Me In The Bathroom marks the beginning of a wealth of new music KÄSSY has been crafting over the past year.
The idea behind “T-Shirt” was inspired by a poem by Courtney Kampa, in which longing becomes so overwhelming that even a T-shirt turns into a rival. The poem captures an unbearable desire to be close to someone—to the point of envying the fabric touching their skin while you cannot.
The song tells the story of the right person at the wrong time: star-crossed lovers caught between desire and surrendering to love without the promise of a shared future.
