Filiah – Everybody Knows

Filiah writes anthems for those who feel misunderstood – by the world and sometimes just as much by themselves. The lead track of her new album „A Deep Breath Out“ (05.06.2026 / Ink Music) is „Everybody Knows“ and describes the Imposter-Syndrom and paranoid states of anxiety that haunt the protagonist. This is reflected in the driving beat, as Filiah blends dark, atmospheric synth sounds. The Lower Austrian once again proves her ability to write catchy pop melodies that only reveal on closer inspection how profound the thoughts behind them are.

The most assertive pop song from Filiah to date leaves a bittersweet aftertaste.  Musically, comparisons draw to Nilüfer Yanya or the early work of Lorde, yet by the bridge at the latest, the familiar, pure essence of Filiah’s songwriting crystallizes:
