No Melancholy, Goodbye began in 2021 as an instrumental piece for a project that never saw the light of day. Between living-room sessions in Ybbs and Vienna, Pipo Fuhs, Michael Stöger and the project’s initiator fencah sketched out the song’s first rough contours — until it finally erupted in 2025 together with Verena Koppendorfer.

Suspended somewhere between indie pop, melancholic euphoria, and sharp electronic edges, No Melancholy, Goodbye — inspired by a modern reimagining of Icarus — tells a story of failed dreams, reinvention, and the refusal to let outside expectations hold you back.
