CHRISTL – XX

The X chromosome is one of the two sex chromosomes, the one that comes from the mother. In CHRISTL‘s new single, “XX” it now also stands for the indispensability of saying things you couldn’t say. 

It tells her story of growing up, which is unique and at the same time that of many, and thus opens the first chapter of her upcoming debut album: 

“XX” hits the spot from the very first second.  The idiosyncratic song, in which anger and longing ambivalently confront each other,with edgy effects, heavy guitars and swirling dynamics not only musically ushers in a new era, but also in terms of content.
