Angela Aux – Morning Sun

Our galaxy has about 100 billion stars.  There are also about 200 billion galaxies. It is therefore reasonable to assume that intelligent life exists apart from us humans. The renowned astronomer Seth Shostak believes that this life could look like very complicated machines, which in turn were built by beings like us, but at an earlier time. So when aliens come to Earth, we will receive a visit from our future, while they will visit their own past.

“Thought experiments” like this have inspired Angela Aux to create another album about futurity. The songwriter gave free rein to his penchant for krautrock and ambient.  The new single “Morning Sun” is a fusion with his band Aloa Input.. Kraut-Folk would be the obvious label for the song from the city of Amon Düül and Popol Vuh.
