zeronic – the Hope And The Enemy

“The Hope And The Enemy” marks zeronic’s first new single in 14 years — a guitar-driven, contemporary alternative track with a clear sense of build and an urgent, anthemic chorus. The song steadily rises toward a striking climax, circling around the idea that opposing forces can exist at the same time.

The single also heralds the upcoming album “Modernism”, set for release this October.

“At its core, the song deals with ambivalence — the feeling that contradictions can coexist without cancelling each other out. Actions can be both: the hope and the enemy, depending on who’s on the other side. Maybe it’s simply about trying to be the hopeful part of that equation.”
