UCHE YARA – honey

After her stunning, multifaceted EP „GOLDEN YEARS“, 22 year old UCHE YARA returns with her new five track EP „honey“, and introduces a completely new feeling to her universe: that of positive melancholy.

The Austrian multi-instrumentalist combines gentle drama and introspective longing with her own, much loved joy for experimentation. „honey“ will be released on 6. December and invites you to immerse yourself in an intimate musical space that comes to life through UCHE’s unmistakable voice and her wealth of ideas.

The title track „honey, come find me“ was born out of a feeling of summer melancholy and is strongly inspired b the kitschy, romantic atmosphere that UCHE found in the music of the Carpenters. She explains: „its an ode to desire – a dance between reaching outward and, at the same time, embracing oneself and staying grounded“. In the son UCHE YARA plays with the balance between daydreaming and self-reflection in a fascinating way.
