The Base – Waiting For June

The new single from  The Base, “Waiting For June” is a melancholic announcement of a hopefully sunny early summer, or is it a sad swan song to a love that is slowly dissolving?

In any case, the relaxed song is one thing: the harbinger of a pleasantly successful new album! And as usual, it’s wonderful to see the wit and drive that the band displays on the 15th album in 28 years.
