„Colder“ is a reflection on the duality present in our consciousness or in waking reality. 

Specifically the juxtaposition of the human condition. How we can feel like we are moving forward in our lives and flourishing (…“Walking into the light, create a world where we thrive”…). 

And then at the next moment feel lost in the haze (…”My darkness has arrived, And you feel like nothing inside, But I get colder”…)

The song celebrates both of these extreme facets of life. To celebrate when we are alone, even feeling cold, as well as when we are thriving and believing in the path forward.
