Polar Noir – Same Water

“Same Water” is now the final single ahead of her highly anticipated debut album, COMING UP FOR BREATH, which will be released on January 24, 2025. The song addresses the fragile healing process after a deep wound. Despite the disillusionment with the world, “Same Water”drifts between pulsing synths and hard-hitting drums, sounding both fragile and wounded, but still resolutely determined to swim back out into the world. Because even those who despise each other cannot change the fact that we share this planet, and should therefore act accordingly. “Don’t spread your poison, we drink the same water,” sings Polar Noir, a sentiment many would love to shout at certain world leaders. “Same Water” offers just under three minutes of space for pain. Polar Noir captures it, breathes through it, and refuses to pass it on.
