What if messing up was scarier than missing out? With FOMU, Swiss artist Pet Owner opens the next chapter on the way to her sophomore album Second Nature (out early 2026). The playful track is about leaving behind the circus of everyday life, the self-imposed rules, the fear of failure. A soft rebellion disguised as an indie pop song.

Together with producer Amadeus Fries, Pet Owner creates a soundscape of dancy synths, warm analog traces, and a steady pulse that recalls 80s pop yet feels entirely her own. Her voice drifts between narrative and confession.
