“Crocodile Tear” is a floating art-pop track filled with surreal imagery, bittersweet humor, and hypnotic energy. Between a flickering fantasy world and emotional overload, the song explores the desire to escape reality when pressure, sensory overload, and spiraling thoughts take over.  Instead of heaviness, Ivery leans into playful absurdity: the ground turns to

lava, life becomes a “funky sauna,” and thoughts lose clarity, appearing artificial and stripped of color. Reality and imagination begin to blur—most vividly in the mantra-like pre-chorus “spinning round, up & down.”
