Filiah – Hurricane

With her sophomore album „A Deep Breath Out“, Filiah captured that one long- awaited exhale — the kind that lifts the weight off your shoulders. Throughout summer 2026, the Lower Austrian artist carried this mantra across stages nationwide and saw it travel even further thanks to substantial airplay on international radio. Now, as the project’s epilogue, A Deep Breath Out (Extended) arrives on October 2, 2026, featuring two previously unreleased bonus tracks.

After the exhale comes a small departure — an opening as a closing note. Chronologically, Filiah returns to where it all began: these are the very first two songs she ever wrote. The focus track “Hurricane” is a brooding electric-guitar ballad and a staple of every Filiah live show. “I wrote this song nine years ago and always played it live, solo on guitar. In the studio, I recorded it exactly that way, just once — that’s the version on the record,” Filiah says of “Hurricane.”

Lyrically, it’s Filiah doing what she does best: examining herself and exposing hernown self-sabotage. The song sounds the part too — calm on the surface, yet charged with crackling tension down to the last note, like the eye of a hurricane
